Quick FarmVille Maison Guide

There are a couple tricks you can use to get your Maison built quickly in FarmVille. You can see my Maison below. I got this thing built in less than 2 hours after they were released. That’s pretty quick in my opinion. After I earned it my friend Pete message me: “Wtf, I have 300 neighbors and I’m not even 1/3 of the way done! Ugh!” I realized that most people didn’t know how to get their Maison built quickly, so I wanted to post this quick tutorial for those of you who are struggling to get your Maison materials.

I’m sure you already know, but you need to collect 10 each of five different materials to build your FarmVille Maison. This is very similar to the FarmVille Horse Stable. The fives items you need are:

Aged Brick

Clinging Vine

Paned Window

Slate Tile

Weathered Board

Okay, so here’s how you can finish your FarmVille Maison faster than your friends…

Post this in your status box:

I am looking for more (Maison Material Here) in FarmVille. Click this link to send me one: (Link Here). In the personal message, tell me which Maison Item (or any other FarmVille item) you want I will send it back to you. This way we can help each other.

Here are the links to use for each item:

http://apps.facebook.com/onthefarm/gifts_send.php?gift=clingingvine
http://apps.facebook.com/onthefarm/gifts_send.php?gift=weatheredboard
http://apps.facebook.com/onthefarm/gifts_send.php?gift=agedbrick
http://apps.facebook.com/onthefarm/gifts_send.php?gift=panedwindow
http://apps.facebook.com/onthefarm/gifts_send.php?gift=slatetile

Now make sure that when you say you’ll send them something back, you do! If you follow-through, you’ll create a very responsive list of friends. Even if you only have 50 friends you will be able to finish your Maison within 2 days. When you FarmVille friends see that you gift back when you say you will, they will be more willing to help you out in the future.
Best of luck!

FarmVille Seeds Guide

Every FarmVille planter has to plant seeds. The question is, what is the best seed for you to plant? You will need to consider your time constraints (when you will be able to harvest your finished crops?) and your goals (are you looking to maximize XP or coins?)

Below is a list of available seeds, sorted by maturity time. There are a number of ways to can sort seeds (Maturity time, total profit, total XP, XP/hr, profit/hr). If you want to save yourself the hassle of doing these types of calculations yourself, I highly recommend my FarmVille Rapid Growth guide. Plus, there’s currently a special deal going on so you’ll get it super cheap!

To use this information, you should first determine how long you want to wait until harvesting again. For example, if you’re doing this at night before going to bed, you may want to choose a crop that takes 8 hours to mature. You then determine your goal (XP or coins). Then see if your current level allows you to plant that crop. That’s it! It’s easy.

FarmVille fence and hay bale stacking is the cool thing to do these days it seems, which is why I’m providing you with this quick tutorial. When you see a farmer who has mastered the art of stacking to build something unique you can’t help but be jealous. Some of them are definitely a work of art. Here’s an example of a farm stacking fences to build towers:

In case you didn’t know, it’s actually impossible to stack fences and hay bales in FarmVille. The stacking is actually an optical illusion created by the placement of these items.

I have included some great FarmVille stacking tutorial videos below that show you how to stack both fences and hay bales. It will then be up to you to create your own farm designs.
