Farmers With Multiple Chicken Coops Beware

Zynga is going to be removing chicken coops from those farmers who have more than one on their farm. The chickens in these coops will be send to your gift box (but presumably if you have more than 30 gifts, they will be gone forever). So, if you have more than one chicken coop, it’s probably best that you take your chickens out of the coop and place them on your farm so that they don’t disappear (Zynga says they won’t disappear, but sometimes…things happen). After they do this, I don’t recommend that you attempt to get multiple FarmVille chicken coops again because this may result in your account being banned. Here’s the official notice from Zynga, which was posted on the Zynga Forum:

Hey Farmers,

When the Chicken Coop feature was initially released, it was not intended for users to be able to have more than one chicken coop per farm.

Due to various glitches and bugs in the past few weeks, certain users were able to place multiple chicken coops on their farms, which is a violation of FarmVille policy.

In order to rectify this situation, the FarmVille team has removed all excess Chicken Coops. This means that all users who are in possession of more than one Chicken Coop will be affected by this release.

To ensure our players are not overly inconvenienced by this change, all chickens that are in excess coops will be placed in your Gift Box. If you have more than 30 Chickens in multiple coops, your gift box will expand to accommodate all of them. This should ensure that you do not lose any chickens that are housed in excess coops.

In addition to this, we will leave the most valuable Chicken Coop on your farm. For example: if you are in possession of two chicken coops, one will be removed. If one Coop has 20 chickens and the other Coop has 3, we will leave the coop with 20 chickens on your farm.

This update will be completed in stages over the next few days, as it is a fairly complicated fix. This means that certain users will lose their additional coops before others.

We understand that many of our players enjoy having multiple Chicken Coops, however allowing this is something that threatens the stability of FarmVille. Having multiple coops increases the chances of producing Mystery Eggs. Having too many Mystery Eggs present in the FarmVille economy can unbalance the game. To ensure the health and longevity of FarmVille, we must limit the number of Chicken Coops to one per user.

After this release, being in possession of multiple Chicken Coops may result in consequences, as additional coops can only be obtained via cheating or hacking. If you would like to report a user for having multiple coops, please feel free to contact Zynga Customer Support.

We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion these glitches may have caused you and we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding while we continue to work through the Beta process.

FarmVille Profit Per Hour Chart with Roses

I recently posted the FarmVille XP Per Hour with Roses Chart. This is the complementary FarmVille Profit/hr chart with roses included. You can use both of these charts together to determine what you should plant. If you’re attempting to maximize profit you should look at the chart below and then look at the XP chart secondary. Chances aren’t you won’t want to pick solely based on profit, unless you’re level 70.

FarmVille XP Per Hour Chart with Roses

I just wanted to throw up an updated chart to show the special FarmVille roses that are available for a limited time. I am personally planting them on my farm now because I mostly go for coins since I’m already level 70. However, the Fire & Ice roses not only yield great profit per hour, but also a solid amount of XP per hour.

FarmVille XP Per Hour Chart

Frankly, I’ve seen some crappy FarmVille XP per hour charts floating around on the internet. Many of them incorrectly calculate the XP per hour (some incorrectly use 24 hours as a “day” instead of 23) and others use the wrong numbers in their calculations. As you probably know, the FarmVille XP chart is useful because it helps you find the optimal crop to plant at any time. You will want the plant the crop that yields the most XP per hour that also fits your time constraints. For example, the berries yield .5 XP/hr, but you wouldn’t want to plant strawberries right before heading to bed because you wouldn’t really get that much XP per hour if you sleep 8 hours because you’ll have 4 hours when your berries are just sitting there. So check out the FarmVille XP chart below. Comment below if you see anything wrong with it, but I double checked everything so it should be good to go.
